Marcia and Tony's Story
On Labor Day 2024, Marcia and Tony first met for lunch at BJ’s Restaurant in Montebello, where an easy friendship began to blossom. That connection quickly grew into something more, and on September 23, 2024, Tony proposed.
The very next day, September 24, 2024, their union paperwork was finalized, marking the start of a shared life together.
Since then, they have journeyed side by side, surrounded by their beloved fur babies, dear friends, and cherished family. Through life’s challenges they have lifted each other up, and in moments of joy they have celebrated wholeheartedly... always guided by their faith in God.
It has been a whirlwind romance, and now Marcia and Tony are excited to celebrate an official ceremony and reception with all those they love. They are deeply grateful for your presence and can’t wait to share a day filled with good food, live music, and dancing.

Your Presence Is the Best Gift
We are incredibly thankful for your love and support-having you at our wedding means the world to us. While we don't expect gifts, we know some of you may still want to contribute something special. For that reason, we've included a registry with a few ideas.
If you prefer, an envelope box will be available at the reception for cards and gifts. If you prefer, we are accepting donations to a local Chihuahua shelter in loving memory of Papas, a cause close to our hearts. Contributions can be made through the Chi Angels Rescue in the name of Guzmán & Tokar LLP, a dog-friendly firm.
Your kindness in any form, whether through your presence, a note, or a contribution, is deeply appreciated.
Our Furbabies

Our hearts and home have always been full of love thanks to our furbabies.
-
Papas – forever in our hearts, watching over us from above.
-
Munchies – our sweet companion, always ready with cuddles in his old age!
-
Gizmo – our playful spirit who keeps us smiling... and "active".
They’ve given us unconditional love, and we love to celebrate them in their own little pet corner on our page!
In loving memory of my soul puppy, Papas 🐾💜
You were my midnight companion through law school books, my quiet comfort in the hardest storms, my steady heartbeat in the silence.
Though you left this world on January 2, 2025, your love remains— in every step, in every vow, in every joy of this day.
Forever my baby, forever my Papas. 🐾💜

In Love, Unity, and Justice
As we celebrate our marriage, we are deeply mindful of the values that guide our lives.
As a proud Mexican American, I carry with me the love of our mother country, México, and gratitude for the opportunities we have in the United States.
My husband’s family roots in Nicaragua and El Salvador add yet another beautiful layer to our story—reminding us of the richness and resilience of Central American culture.
Yet we cannot ignore the struggles many immigrants face—the mistreatment, the separation of families, and the challenges endured in pursuit of dignity and safety.
In honor of our union, we invite you to support CHIRLA (Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights), a nonprofit dedicated to advancing immigrant rights and keeping families together. Your donation, made in the name of Guzman & Tokar LLP, will help build a more just and compassionate future for immigrant communities.
Thank you for standing with us in love, unity, and justice.
